I am a Helsinki-based Finnish visual artist working across tangible photography, installation and trace-based sculpture. I draw inspiration from remembering places visited and photography as an archiving tool to mediate memories.
I graduated from Aalto University in 2017 with a combined BA and MA programme in Photography. I have exhibited internationally in both solo and group exhibitions including Centre de la Photographie de Mougins, the Finnish Cultural institute in Paris, The Nordic House in Reykjavik, Lianzhou Foto Festival, Wäinö Aaltonen Museum in Turku and Hippolyte Photographic Gallery in Helsinki. I have worked in artist residencies in Cite des Arts in Paris, SIM in Reykjavik and FABRIKKEN in Copenhagen.
My works are in public collections of the Finnish State Art Deposit and Aalto University. I was previously the Chair of the board of the Finnish Photographic Artists’ Association and Vice Chair of the Finnish Artists’ Association
